  • Water-slide duty, I love it!! Standing up on top, helping little kids (and not so little "kids") go down is a blast!

I had my first trip down the water-slide myself yesterday, altho it was a surprise to me! Being grabbed by two guys and being thrown onto the slide was not my idea...but it sure was fun, altho I deserved it...seeing as how I'd pushed one of them first. Who says I'm "innocent."

Camp fire tonight, last night with my camp family. It's been a good week, a hard week, a tireing week, a busy week...but a refreshing week. God is good.

  • Hey to home, ya'll! Guess what? I'm a family assistent this week! And what's interesting is...the kids in my family are three girls...ages 16, 15, and 12! This is going to be very stretching for me, so I would appreciate any and all prayers from you all!

Suz, you go, girl!!! In fact....you "go" right on out here, ok?! Woohoo!

    "Tally-ho!!!"

  • "It's a beautiful thing," to quote one of my kitchen bosses. So far, my life has consisted of mainly working in the kitchen, and holding babies in the nursery during the teaching sessions. There are some majorly cute babies in there!

Got two packages from home yesterday! One came yesterday...the other came several days ago, but I didn't get it then because one of the guys decided he wanted to play a joke on me and confiscated it, and then only told me "I have something that you want real bad."  But...haha, thanks to a loyal friend and an awesome boss, I've got it back, and had a regular party up on my top-bunk last night before lights-out. It was almost like my birthday all over again!

  • Well, here I am! It's good to be back. So far, I've slept most of the time, but I'm good at that. And there's way too many people with accents...I'm having a hard time not picking it up already!

But it's great to be here. And my guitar made it safe and sound!

  • Well, the bags are packed and waiting by the door. Everyone has gone to bed. August seems so far away right now. But between 6:00 tomorrow morning and that day in August...I know much will happen. Just what...I don't know. But I do know that God has a specific plan for me and this time stretching before me. And I want to experience it and Him, to the fullest.

I hope you all have a wonderful summer, always know that I love and miss you, and will be thinking of you! God bless!

  • My theme song for today, courtesy of Mark Shultz:

"I don't even know who I am anymore........"

That's what I sing when I look in the mirror now. Wow, I feel so....light!

  • The possible results of sitting out in the sun:

    1) you get a sunburn.

    2) you get a tan.

    3) the freckles on your nose get darker.

    Oh boy.......I have all three.
