  • Here I sit on the floor of the Children's Ministry training suite typing away on "my" Silver team's Dynamite Club laptop. I was productively (or endeavoring to be productive, at least) working away on an outline for a mammoth story that we have due tomorrow...when the delightful little box popped up on the bottom of the screen informing me that I had a wireless connection. I decided that it was time for a quick break.

So, what's been going on for me? More than I can type in a quick post. This week has been what we call Revival week. The speaker has been so led by the Spirit, every message has hit my heart right where I needed it, and the Lord has been doing a great work in my stubborn heart. I spent a while this morning in the prayer room, talking and confessing to God some areas that I have been holding onto. I guess I'm more of a control freak than I thought I was. I wish it was easier to hand thing over to the Lord, instead of having to have Him pry my fingers from what I think is a "treasure" that I want to hold onto.

Things are getting more stressful here with training. No, like I told somebody else tonight, I guess it's not so much stress, as much as overload. Planning our lessons for entire evenings, making outlines, etc, etc....can I ask for prayer?

Well, I was just asked where I was in my outline and was forced to confess that I was taking a break...so I guess I'd better get back to being productive.

  • Hang in there girl!  I am sure that your story will be great!  I wish I could be at revival week, I am kinda in a spiritual desert right now.  But it is good for me to have to rely solely on God for my spiritual food, and not be spoon-fed right now.  I will pray that God will continue to reveal things to you..nothing between your soul and your Savior!

  • Thanks for sharing, Kel; I'll keep you in my prayers.

  • Praying for you, Kellie!  I have definitely not forgotten about you.  Miss you, friend.
